ATL X SFOC 2022: WHAT A WEEKEND!
An absolute monster of a weekend of track racing out here at the Adelaide Superdrome saw our first foray into UCI C2 racing and some stellar fields from across the country taking part in - dare we say it - some of the best racing we’ve ever seen at Adelaide Track League.
Full replays are available to watch at your leisure, with Friday’s stacked program of Keirins, Women’s Omnium, Men’s Endurance racing (and we really do mean endurance in this case) and Para showcase racing all present on the 7Plus website, and Saturday’s quieter program of Sprint and Men’s Omnium now available to watch on our Facebook Page.
Highlight performances of the weekend include Maeve Plouffe’s commanding Omnium performance, Conor Leahy’s blistering win in the marathon Points Race, Matthew Richardson’s venue record in the Flying 200 (9.553s) followed by a flawless two evenings of racing taking wins in the Keirin and Sprint, Bree Hargrave’s upset victories in the Keirin and Sprint over Kristina Clonan, and Paralympic athletes Meg Lemon, Paige Greco and Darren Hicks taking to the boards on their home track.
